With a little black-and-white reminder of the past ten years of character growth for our core Avenger team, this trailer for Endgame might make fans a little teary at the start…
Hold on to your feels:
They’re still keen to keep the majority of the plot a secret (a smart move, probably), and to keep quiet on whether Tony Stark ever makes it back to his pals (wait no, he’s there at the end! FINALLY). But we do know that there are plans afoot, and that those plans will hopefully undo all the horribleness Thanos visited on the universe with his One Snap Solution.
There are a lot of other fun snippets that we get here: Clint training his daughter (maybe she’ll be the MCU version of Kate Bishop aka Hawkeye Too?), Rocket hanging out with War Machine (since he no longer has Groot to hang off of *sniff*), Widow at the range (growing back her red hair!), Thor deciding that he and Carol Danvers are best friends now (surprising no one)…
The fact that Natasha’s hair is growing out rather than getting dyed back gives us a better idea of how long it’s been since Infinity War. You’re looking at a year’s worth of hair growth at least, if not more. Probably more. So, you know, that just makes this all extra painful.
Avengers: Endgame will hit theaters on April 26th! Which is alarmingly soon.
