Moon Knight, the next MCU series coming to Disney+, has Oscar Isaac portraying a man who has Dissociative Identity Disorder. We’ve seen hints of Isaac’s portrayal of his character’s multiple personalities in the trailer, and we now also have a behind-the-scenes featurette that delves into Isaac’s character in more detail, as well as the overall setup and tone of the series.

If that’s not enough to pique your interest, it also has Ethan Hawke, who plays the villain in the series, wearing a jaunty hat. Check it out above.

“It’s a real, legitimate character study,” Isaac says in the clip about the show. “Our job was to put a lens on the things that had the most dramatic juice, and ultimately take the mental health aspect very seriously.”

Director Mohamed Diab also explains that the series will start out with Isaac as Steven Grant, the personality of Isaac’s character that has that very strange Cockney-esque accent. We’ll then see Isaac as Marc Spector and also Moon Knight, of course, and we get the promise that the series is a cross between Fight Club and Indiana Jones.

The featurette also has some pretty cool albeit pretty short cuts from the series, including one of the god Khonshu. Disney also released some new posters for Moon Knight (see below) that showcases Isaac in many different phases (get it?!).

Moon Knight stars Oscar Isaac, Ethan Hawke, and May Calamawy. It premieres on Disney+ on March 30, 2022.
