Remakes can make even the most devout fan into a cynic, and while the new RoboCop was fun for some, many of us were confused as to why it needed remaking in the first place.
Fear not, citizen. The RoboCop Remake will soothe your burdened soul.
The filmmakers call it “not a shot-for-shot remake, but a scene-for-scene retelling.” It brings to mind the crowdsourced versions of Star Wars that were created recently, only there are just 50 participants this time around, so they get more time to play with the material. There are animated bits and video game bits and dancing and… just trust us. Treat yourself.
