A concept artist and art director in the videogame industry for nine years, Aleksi was the lead artist on Cold Fear, the horror-action game developed by DarkWorks for Ubisoft; Splinter Cell Double Agent, from the hit series; and, more recently, Haze (Ubisoft) and Dungeon Runners (NCsoft). He also contributed to the Heroes of Might & Magic 4 trailer and the Prince of Persia 3 2005 E3 booth banner.

Aleksi also works in the world of tabletop gaming, and has done covers for the Mage, Vampire , and C.O.P.S role-playing games, as well as Horrorclix (Wizkids) packagings and World of Warcraft gaming cards. He has worked extensively with Wizards of the Coast on cards and packagings for Magic: The Gathering and Dreamblade.  

As far as print media, Aleksi has done covers for Tolkien, J.V. Jones, and Marion Zimmer Bradley books, as well as Marvel Comics' Annihilation: Conquest and the Dark Horse series Hellgate. He has also illustrated the comic adaptation of the videogame Alone in the Dark 4 and Spawn: Simony (Todd McFarlane Productions), which was the bestselling trade paperback in the US for May 2004. He is currently working on another Spawn graphic novel, Architects of Fear, along with his ongoing artbook project Merlin.

Aleksi is an instructor for the international ConceptArt / MassiveBlack workshops.  He is 29 years old and living and working in Paris.
