If you’re a fan of The Walking Dead franchise, you’re going to have a very busy year. AMC announced the release dates and premiere time frames for all three main series as well as commentary show Talking Dead. Based on the dates we see so far, it looks like practically every month of the year could contain some new zombie content.
In what has become a tradition for the original Walking Dead show, we’ll see new episodes debut on February 28th. But instead of kicking off a new season, the six new episodes that start in February will continue the story of season ten. After those have aired, the show’s eleventh and final season will start later in the year. Talking Dead will also return on February 28th and likely will follow Walking Dead’s release pattern.

Once those six episodes are done, Fear The Walking Dead will continue its 6th season in Spring 2021. Fear gave us a substantial cliffhanger when it was revealed that the missing character Grace had been imprisoned by the villainous Virginia for months. We’ll see how the characters, especially her love interest Morgan, react to this devastating news in the spring. Once the season concludes, will see the 7th season of Fear The Walking Dead kick off later this year.
Rounding up the universe is The Walking Dead: World Beyond. The story, which mainly revolves around a group of teens navigating the world of walkers, will start sometime after Fear ends its sixth season. Since World Beyond is only slated to run for two seasons, we could see it end in 2021 if they release all the episodes continuously. Given that the big bad organization featured in the show is the same group that took Rick Grimes in season 9, fans are hoping that, whenever the show ends, they’ll be given a substantial clue about where our favorite zombie-fighting sheriff ended up.
