Last weekend, Disney held its annual D23 Expo, in which Disney executives, casts, and crews share details on the company’s upcoming film slate. And seeing as Disney also owns Lucasfilm and Marvel Studios, there was a lot of ground to cover. Here’s your comprehensive roundup of all of the news from D23, including Star Wars: Rogue One, The Incredibles 2, Captain America: Civil War, and so much more!

Star Wars:

  • Yep, that’s a new Drew Struzan poster for Star Wars: The Force Awakens. This one was a promotion for D23 attendees; Struzan will be creating a primary poster for the film, which we can’t wait to see. And, if you’ll notice, Finn is holding a lightsaber—very interesting… Here’s the full poster:

  • A galaxy far, far away is coming to the happiest place on Earth! Bob Iger explained that there will be two Star Wars theme parks, one at Disneyland in Anaheim, CA, and the other at the Walt Disney World Resort in Orland, FL. Guests can interact with droids and aliens at the cantina, take the controls of the Millennium Falcon, and be dropped into a battle between the First Order and the resistance.  Marvel Cinematic Universe:

  • The first footage from Captain America: Civil War premiered; it hasn’t yet made its way online, but Blastr has a detailed blow-by-blow. Lots of superheroes! (Though not even a glimpse of the new Spidey.)
  • When asked if it’s full-out war between Iron Man and Captain America, Anthony Mackie explained that “it’s more a family dispute.”
  • There’s no Doctor Strange footage to share, but fans were treated to a concept art reel and star Benedict Cumberbatch describing it as “Girls, cars, explosions and a bit of astral projection into multiple dimensions. The usual fare.”
  • More theme park action: The “Iron Man Experience” will debut at Hong Kong Disneyland in 2016.

Disney•Pixar:

  • The Incredibles 2 is actually happening! Brad Bird will write and direct; it’s his next film. Disney also tweeted out the official logo:

  • Finding Nemo director Andrew Stanton summed up the plot of the highly-awaited sequel: “In Finding Dory, we can expect to address the one emotionally open-ended issue that remained from the first movie: Where is Dory’s family, and will this overly-optimistic fish with short-term memory loss ever be able to find them again? Her issue has also given us the opportunity to travel to very different locations, on land and sea, and meet a variety of new sea creatures that expand the world of Nemo, Marlin and Dory.” They also shared a photo of Dory (Ellen DeGeneres) and new character Hank (Ed O’Neill), a cantankerous octopus:

  • John Lasseter explained how Toy Story 4 is playing around with a new type of narrative: “I’m very proud of our films. When we made the first three Toy Story films, we didn’t realize what we had done was to change the genre of each of the films’ story. For Toy Story 4, we are doing a type of story we have not done before: a love story. It’s a story about a relationship between Woody and Bo Peep.”
  • Disney’s Hollywood Studios in Florida is being transformed into Toy Story Land, in which guests must navigate the world (and escape “The Claw”) from Woody and Buzz’s eye-level.
  • The Frozen FANdemonium event celebrated the film’s music, and included intel on some early songs that had to be cut.
  • Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson took to the stage to talk about Moana, in which he plays the mighty demi-god Maui. The creative team behind the film shared some test footage and talked about the three-pronged team behind the music: Hamilton creator Lin-Manuel Miranda, composer Mark Mancina, and Opetaia Foa’i (founder and lead singer of the band Te Vaka). Moana is described as “the tale of a spirited teenager who sets out to prove herself a master wayfinder.”
  • Gigantic is a new take on Jack and the Beanstalk: “Set in Spain during the Age of Exploration, Disney’s Gigantic follows adventure-seeker Jack as he discovers a world of giants hidden within the clouds. He hatches a grand plan with Inma, a 60-foot-tall, 11-year-old girl, and agrees to help her find her way home. But he doesn’t account for her super-sized personality—and who knew giants were so down to earth?” Music by Frozen‘s Kristen Anderson-Lopez and Robert Lopez!

  • We don’t know much about Coco, other than that the visuals are inspired by Días de los Muertos, and this logline: “the celebration of a lifetime, where the discovery of a generations-old mystery leads to a most extraordinary and surprising family reunion.”
  • Disney shared footage from The Good Dinosaur featuring a trio of T-Rexes, and more information about the movie’s plot: “Arlo and Spot journey through a world that has been greatly inspired by the American Northwest. It is epic in scope, soul-enriching and simultaneously beautiful and treacherous. In this world, we meet up with a very special family of T-Rexes, who help Arlo find a way through his personal fears and ultimately teach Arlo what he’s truly made of.”

  • The next emotional obstacle for Inside Out‘s Riley? Her first date! That short will be available on the DVD and Blu-ray.
