Aliens. Ancient terrors. Scientific experiments gone awry. We’ve spent time with many different monsters over the last few weeks. All of them have a special place in the bloody cockles of my heart, and they might be burrowed into yours, as well. So with this series at an end, I want to know which of the ten aberrations is your favorite, or what alternate horrors are at the top of your list? But first, let’s review which monsters earned a place in my own morbid menagerie…
Track 1 – Aliens from Attack the Block

Weakness: The sweet, sweet taste of irradiated cattle.
Track 3 – Arachnid Warriors
What: Bug-like alien species

Strength: There’s always more.
Weakness: Anti-bug propaganda.
Track 4 – The Tusseladd
What: Troll

Strength: An extra two pseudoheads that even scare other trolls.
Weakness: Vitamin D.
Track 5 – David Kessler
What: American student / Werewolf

Strength: Sheer bloodlust.
Weakness: Songs with the word “moon” in the title.
Track 6 – Gwoemul
What: Mutated fish-monster

Strength: Camouflage by way of public hysteria.
Weakness: A good old fashioned fish fry.
Track 7 – Graboids
What: Giant underground worm

Strength: The element of subterranean surprise.
Weakness: Kevin Bacon
Track 8 – Gojira
What: Radioactive dinosaur

Strength: Death breath. Literally.
Weakness: American reboots.
Track 9 – The Thing
What: Shape-shifting parasitic alien species

Strength: The ability to assimilate, copy, and mash up any organism.
Weakness: Flamethrowers inscrutably stashed at a research station.
Track 10 – The Xenomorph
What: Parasitic alien species
Source: Alien, 1979
Strength: Every part of this alien, and its life cycle, is deadly and gross.
Weakness: Always standing too close to the airlock.
