So, something happened at the end of the lesbian necromancer Clue LARP that we have internalized as Tamsyn Muir’s Gideon the Ninth. Something that we will continue to not spoil for you…

…until you read further and get a look at the Dramatis Personae for the sequel, Harrow the Ninth, which is out soon SOON finally yes August 4th.

Although maybe it’s not so much a spoiler as it is a “pls explain” kind of moment?

We’ll let you decide. We’re stalling for the folks who don’t want to be spoiled but clicked this anyway.

We’re still stalling. Gosh, we’re nice.

Nice and not thirsty.

The end of this list is significantly lacking in adequate chill.

Also, wasn’t the original 9th cav named Ortus? It’s pretty credible that it could be coincidence, or a mother naming her son after a revered saint, happens all the time.

Was the Emperor’s guardian Ada Lovelace? Adam Lambert? Very suspicious that such an important person would only be known by initials. Almost like the emperor didn’t want their name to be well known. Sealed away, maybe. Buried, maybe in a locked tomb.

@1 you raise such intriguing possibilities about the identify of “A.L.”.

Now I’d love to see fanfiction where Adam Lambert appears. Or possibly a crossover with Catherynne Valente’s Space Opera novel.

I’m so excited for this book!

As someone who has had the chance to read Harrow, y’all are in for a treat I swear. Also, ready your minds and your emotions. That is all.

(And if anyone is interested, here is my review for Harrow the Ninth. Only 12 days to go! AAAAAHHHHHH)

If Harrow is responsible for the end of that list, she appears to be, as the kids say, ‘hella pissed’. Which is understandable, really.

I took a closer look at the list, and what’s up with (presumably deceased) Anastasia?  She wasn’t called out as a “Saint” — so, not a lyctor?? Or a lyctor on the wrong side?  Or?

When’s the audiobook due? IS there an audiobook? Seriously, I’m holding out for it because the first one is just so damn good.

I just noticed that on the image of Harrow, on her left side, a little of her hair is not black but reddish, maybe? I wonder if this means something…

Innnnteresting possibilities emerge…

Of note… no clue in the above list as to the identity of a Gideon from a certain scrap of paper found in a certain bedroom from a certain first book…

a line through Cytherea… I was not expecting that (or I totally missed because of.. events)

@7 I believe that’s actually a bit of her left ear.

Wasn’t Ianthe in a decidedly untenable position the last time we saw her? Is she still periodically melting into puddles of goo I wonder?

Re. Harrow’s face: is she growing a neck beard or is her face paint running down her neck? And that is her ear, and is she wearing some kind of fang earrings?

and why is ORTUS written as ORTUS instead of Ortus…. like Mercymorn and Cassiopeia and EVERY OTHER SAINT…

a nickname?  a.. special saint name?

un/related? : P&G from the Canaan House study and the second house wax seal in the same room…

*reviews list*

P for Pyrrha…. and dvě is “two” in Czech…
