Wreck-It Ralph 2 Ralph Breaks the Internet trailer Disney princesses Vanellope

“Take me to a website that’s super-intense and really nuts!”

VANELLOPE NO. Clearly neither Disney’s glitchy princess nor beloved wrecker Ralph have visited the internet before, or they would know how risky it is to make a search query like that.

The first trailer for Ralph Breaks the Internet: Wreck-It Ralph 2 does establish that Vanellope von Schweetz is indeed a Disney princess, in a funny self-burn about what makes up that archetype. But before that, you have to get through the mind-boggling bustle of ads, brands, and constant chatter, all the way to Disney’s GIF-tastic answer to Tumblr, Oh My Disney (yep, they really go there).

Which, if you think about it, accurately represents the experience of being online. Interesting…

The trailer is mostly jokey and sets the atmosphere, but here’s the official synopsis from Disney:

Ralph Breaks the Internet: Wreck-It Ralph 2 leaves Litwak’s video arcade behind, venturing into the uncharted, expansive and thrilling world of the internet—which may or may not survive Ralph’s wrecking. Video game bad guy Ralph (voice of John C. Reilly) and fellow misfit Vanellope von Schweetz (voice of Sarah Silverman) must risk it all by traveling to the world wide web in search of a replacement part to save Vanellope’s video game, Sugar Rush. In way over their heads, Ralph and Vanellope rely on the citizens of the internet—the netizens—to help navigate their way, including a website entrepreneur named Yesss (voice of Taraji P. Henson), who is the head algorithm and the heart and soul of trend-making site “BuzzzTube.”

Disney princess jokes aside, Yesss seems like the most interesting new character in this trailer.

Ralph Breaks the Internet: Wreck-It Ralph 2 comes to theaters November 21.
