The first trailer for Venom is here! And it… doesn’t tell us much. Tom Hardy will star as Eddie Brock, who becomes the symbiote’s host, and he seems to be having a terrible day. But you can actually see his face in this one! So far.

Venom was first introduced in The Amazing Spider-Man #252 in 1984, in which it fused with Peter Parker’s Spider-Man suit and caused all kinds of shenanigans before fusing with Peter’s rival photographer, Eddie Brock.
It will be interesting to see what this film does with the character as separate entity from the rest of the shared Marvel Universe. Venom hits theaters October 5, 2018!
