Harrison Ford will put on the hat one last time: Kathleen Kennedy confirmed today at Disney’s Investor Day presentation that Indiana Jones 5 will bring the iconic character’s story to a close.

Once upon a time it was rumored that Steven Spielberg would return to direct this installment, but James Mangold is now officially on board. Could there be a better choice than the director of Logan to see a beloved character like Indy into retirement?

As previously reported, the movie has been delayed repeatedly, and now won’t arrive until 2022. It’s in pre-production now and is scheduled to begin filming in summer of 2021, barring any further delays, but there’s no word on who is writing the script. Last year, Cinema Blend tracked the list of screenwriters who have at some point been attached to the project, ranging from David Koepp (Jurassic Park; Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull) to Jonathan Kasdan (Solo) to Scott Beck and Bryan Woods (A Quiet Place) and back to Koepp, who was last rumored to be back on board.

Little else is known about Indy’s final adventure, but now is as good a time as any for a rewatch of the first four movies, right?
