In this episode of Rocket Talk, Justin is joined by bloggers Natalie Luhrs and Jenny Thurman to hash out the Hugo Award ballot for short stories. For reference purposes, those stories include:
- If You Were a Dinosaur, My Love by Rachel Swirsky
- The Ink Readers of Doi Saket by Thomas Olde Heuvelt
- Selkie Stories Are for Losers by Sofia Samatar
- The Water That Falls on You from Nowhere by John Chu
The three argue over which story is best and then declare their winners at the end! Some jokes are made. Some serious stuff is discussed.
Natalie Luhrs blogs at The Radish. She was formerly an editor at Romantic Times and now edits for Masque Books, an imprint of Prime Books.
Jenny Thurman blogs at Jenny’s Library. She has a masters degree in Library Science and often drops knowledge in her very active Twitter feed.
