Ahead of its upcoming season two premiere next month, Apple has released a new trailer for its post-apocalyptic Apple TV+ series, See. The trailer shows what looks to be a brutal war between the remnants of civilization fight, while two brothers, now rival leaders, find themselves on opposite ends of the coming conflict.

The series is set in a post apocalyptic future after a plague wiped out most of humanity and left its survivors without sight. Those survivors were forced to rebuild society, and several centuries later, humanity exists as a series of tribal factions. One such faction is led by Baba Voss (Jason Momoa), who took in a refugee from outside the tribe, and adopted her two children, both of whom can see, signaling a potential change in the state of the world.

In this new trailer, we learn that Baba Voss’s daughter, Haniwa (played by Nesta Cooper) has been taken by his brother, Edo Voss (played by Guardians of the Galaxy‘s David Bautista), the general for one of the region’s more powerful tribes. We soon learn that there are more children who can see.

The various clans understand just how powerful that ability is in a world without sight, and as the trailer goes on, Edo notes that whichever nation can control it will dominate the world. War comes closer, and Baba is reluctantly drawn into the conflict as he and other tribes stand against his brother and the nation he represents.

Season two is set to debut on August 27th on the streaming platform, part of a busy fall for Apple—the series will join Foundation (debuting on September 24th), Invasion (October 22nd), and Severance (set to debut sometime in 2021).
