Bob’s Burgers, the animated series about a family of misfits who run a burger joint, is getting the feature treatment and we have a trailer to prove it.

While the trailer starts out with some evocative live-action burgers flipping on a grill and interacting with its various condiment accoutrements, it soon switches to cartoon form as Linda (John Roberts) wears a sexy hamburger costume to entice passersby to buy their grub. The trailer goes on from there, which you can watch above if you’re so inclined.

If you’re hankering to learn more, here’s the official description of the feature:

“The Bob’s Burgers Movie is an animated, big-screen, musical comedy-mystery-adventure based on the long-running Emmy-winning series. The story begins when a ruptured water main creates an enormous sinkhole right in front of Bob’s Burgers, blocking the entrance indefinitely and ruining the Belchers’ plans for a successful summer. While Bob and Linda struggle to keep the business afloat, the kids try to solve a mystery that could save their family’s restaurant. As the dangers mount, these underdogs help each other find hope and fight to get back behind the counter, where they belong.”

At this point you may be asking yourself—is Bob’s Burgers genre? The answer is no, but it is still a delightfully nerdy show that is worth a watch.

The Bob’s Burgers Movie features the voice acting talent of Kristen Schaal, H. Jon Benjamin, John Roberts, Dan Mintz, Eugene Mirman, Larry Murphy, Zach Galifianakis, Kevin Kline, and David Wain. The film’s director is Bernard Derriman and its co-director is Loren Bouchard. The screenplay is by Loren Bouchard & Nora Smith. The producers are Loren Bouchard, Nora Smith and Janelle Momary.

While we still have a few months until the animated feature comes out in theaters on May 27, the good news is there are plenty of old Bob’s Burgers episodes for us to watch to our heart’s content until then.
