The latest addition to Disney+’s WandaVision spinoff Agatha: Coven of Chaos is none other than Aubrey Plaza. Reuniting her with her Parks and Recreation castmate Kathryn Hahn seems brilliant no matter how you slice it—but please, please let Plaza play a witch?

Of course, Marvel isn’t saying. The only known roles in the show belong to the actresses who also appeared in WandaVision: Hahn as Agatha and Emma Caulfield Ford as Dottie. Heartstopper‘s Joe Locke also recently joined the cast, also in a mysterious role.

Coven of Chaos was first announced in the wake of WandaVision‘s successful run, though Agatha’s spinoff didn’t yet have a title (and was briefly called House of Harkness, which I still think is cooler). Agatha’s WandaVision story had a rather unsatisfying end, and it’s unclear whether her spinoff will pick up after that, or before she came to Westview, or—who knows!—in some other timeline or multiverse altogether. WandaVision‘s Jac Schaefer is head writer and executive producer for Coven of Chaos, so at the very least there’s a throughline between the series.

As for Plaza, from Safety Not Guaranteed to Scott Pilgrim vs. the World to Legion, she’s made her mark in SFF-adjacent movies and TV while always keeping one foot squarely in comedy. She starred in Parks & Rec and currently provides a voice on Little Demon; you can also find her on Drunk History and the new season of The White Lotus (pictured above).

No premiere date has been announced for Agatha: Coven of Chaos.
