Alex Shvartsman is the award-winning author of Kakistocracy, The Middling Affliction, and Eridani's Crown fantasy novels as well as over 120 short stories. His translations from Russian have been published at Reactor, Clarkesworld, F&SF, Asimov's, Analog, and many other venues. He's also translated for TV, film, and video games.
