Carole Nelson Douglas is the author of the long-running Las-Vegas-set Midnight Louie feline PI mystery series (Cat in a Topaz Tango, Cat in an Ultramarine Scheme, etc.) and the Irene Adler historical suspense novels, including the New York Times Notable Book of the Year Good Night, Mr. Holmes. Dancing with Werewolves began the Delilah Street noir urban fantasy series, followed by Brimstone Kiss and Vampire Sunrise. The first two Delilah Street novels received Publisher's Weekly starred reviews. Silver Zombie arrives November 30, 2010. Douglas, an ex-reporter and editor for a daily newspaper, has had fifty-five novels published in various genres and has written many short stories, seven reprinted in Year's Best Mystery collections. She and her husband are kept as pets in Fort Worth by several formerly homeless cats and a dog.
