personal website, "Rachel's maternal grandfather was an Orthodox Jew. Her paternal grandfather was a member of the KKK. Her great-uncle suffered from an addiction to milk, and her great-grandmother was afraid of grass. Among her relatives, she counts screen-writers, poets, physicists, mathematicians, librarians, and engineers."
