Marvel and Apple have just released a brand new trailer for The Avengers, revealing the team’s dynamic and who—and what—they’ll be fighting.

Agent Coulson jokes to a fellow SHIELD agent about how the Avengers need a time out. The trailer makes it pretty clear that getting so many “headlining” personalities together doesn’t work out so much.
Hawkeye, Captain America, and the Black Widow march grimly. They’re probably worried about something big and looming that can only be defeated by the combined might of the planet’s greatest superpowered heroes.
Loki looking dapper in downtown Manhattan. We know Loki is the main villain of the film, but look who else The Avengers will have to fight….
Thor! The god of Thunder goes at it against Iron Man and Captain America at one point in the trailer. Is he brainwashed by Loki or is this a test of worthiness?
Hulk is mostly helpful in the trailer, even catching Iron Man straight out of the sky at one point, but he appears to be chasing Black Widow here. Perhaps because she tries to forcibly collect him early on in the film?
