This Baby Owl Gets Into the Halloween Dancing Spirit!

We’ve made the executive decision to forego the tricks and give you a treat this Halloween! Because we couldn’t resist sharing this video of Oakley, the baby great horned owl who got really excited about a Halloween toy.

As YouTuber Raptor Rehabber explains, they usually give Oakley puppets to give him a sense of security. But in 2012, when they brought in an owl-shaped Halloween toy that played “Monster Mash,” well… Oakley just had to start dancing and even singing along:

According to Tastefully Offensive, Oakley was released back into the wild when he was big enough to fend for himself, about six weeks after this video was filmed. We hope Oakley is screeching along to “Monster Mash” somewhere out in the wild this weekend…
