Did you know that there was a DuckTales reboot happening? Neither did we, but this video from Disney XD, of the new cast singing the original DuckTales theme, makes for the best combination casting announcement and smile bringer. Danny Pudi is in it? Jean-Ralphio Ben Schwartz too? And… is that David Tennant as Scrooge McDuck? YES.
Tennant is especially amusing wincing at the high notes, but really it’s so fun to watch everyone—Bobby Moynihan (rounding out the Huey/Dewey/Louie trio with Pudi and Schwartz), Beck Bennett (Launchpad), Kate Micucci (Webby), Toks Olagundoye (Mrs. Beakley)—getting into it. You’ll probably be singing along by the time you get to the end of this too-short video and press replay:
