Donato is Iron Man

The SF and fantasy art world has a single-track mind this time of year: San Diego Comic Con. Donato Giancola will be debuting an Iron Man painting that he has been chomping at the bit to paint for, oh, 20-odd years now. I saw him give a lecture last month where he showed an Iron Man drawing  (seen here) he had done as a kid. He was working on this at the Illustration Master Class and was clearly having too much fun painting all that metal, rusty and shiny.
