Jurassic World: Dominion, the next movie in the Jurassic Park franchise, is still several months away. For those who need their dinosaur fix for the holiday season, however, Universal Pictures and Amblin Entertainment released a new five-minute video prologue that goes way, way back in time.

The bulk of the prologue, which was directed by Dominion director Colin Trevorrow, looks like a National Geographic documentary (if National Geographic was around 65 million years ago). With the help of Industrial Light & Magic, we see a herd of Dreadnoughtuses as well as the egg-eating Oviraptor and five other dinosaurs new to Jurassic World. A hairy T-Rex also makes an appearance battling a Giganotosaurus.

If you want some contemporary dinosaur action, the prologue has a little bit of that as well. In it, we see that poor T-Rex from the first two Jurassic World movies crashing a drive-in theater screening. Things go pretty much as expected from there, though we’ll have to wait until this summer to see how they ultimately turn out.

Jurassic World: Dominion stars Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard as Owen Grady and Claire Dearing. They are also joined by Laura Dern, Sam Neill, and the wonderful Jeff Goldblum, who reprise their roles as Dr. Ellie Sattler, Dr. Alan Grant, and Dr. Ian Malcolm. BD Wong is also back reprising his role of Dr. Henry Wu and is joined by Mamoudou Athi, Dichen Lachman, and DeWanda Wise. Colin Trevorrow once again directs, and he co-wrote the screenplay with Emily Carmichael.

Jurassic World: Dominion arrives in theaters June 10, 2022.
