The San Francisco Public Library has chosen Cory Doctorow’s Little Brother for their One City One Book campaign! This marks the first time that a Young Adult novel has been chosen. The selection committee praised the book, saying “Doctorow is an author not afraid to fight the good fight, and in this highly readable, technologically savvy novel for all reading levels, he gives us the tools necessary so that we can do the same.”
The One City One Book campaign has planned a whole month of events to celebrate—check out the full list here. They’ll also host a Little Brother-themed scavenger hunt on September 14th from 2:00-5:30. It’s free, so remember to register your team before noon on Friday, September 13th!
