We have a trailer for The Red Turtle! The film is a co-production between the legendary Studio Ghibli and the film distribution company Wild Bunch. The film marks both the first-ever co-production for Ghibli, and the feature debut of Academy Award-winning animator Michaël Dudok de Wit. The film is your classic “boy washes up on deserted island, boy battles giant sea turtle, boy meets mythic girl story” – and it’s also silent and gorgeously animated. It has received rave reviews, including winning an Un Certain Regard Special Prize at the Cannes Film Festival in May. Click through for the trailer!
