Have you ever wanted to watch Luke Skywalker lightsaber the crap out of Alien? Or thrill as Link engaged Darth Vader in battle? You might be interested in Toys vs. Toys, a great example of the magic that can occur when action figures are bashed together in a creative way. Animator Johnny McHone isn’t just giving us a send-up of Star Wars, or Legend of Zelda – he’s created a fantastic time travel adventure that just happens to star some pop culture icons. You see, the world’s most terrible action figure/supervillains have gotten hold of a time-traveling device, and they’re using it for nefarious purposes! It’s up to a team of good toys, including Luke, Link, Rocket Raccoon, Captain Jean-Luc Picard, Samus, and several Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles to defeat them.
